New “I Survived Boston Winter 2015” initiative aims to alleviate  $14 Million MBTA budget deficit

 

Following the recent $14 million dollar budget cut to the MBTA, a campaign has emerged to help funnel Boston community contributions back into the department.

 

The initiative offers tee shirts commemorating this winter’s horrendous conditions, with an “I Survived Boston Winter 2015” logo emblazoned across the chest. The image depicts a stylized Boston skyline partially obscured by banks of the all-too-familiar snow.

 

Sales will launch on March 20—the first official day of spring. 100% of all proceeds from shirt sales will be donated to the MBTA. Adult tee shirts and tanks are available for $17 and $15, respectively; youth tee shirts are $12. Each shirt is available in sizes from XS-XL.
